Step Out With Roland Mouret....

These looks are from the Spring 2010 show for Roland Mouret. The way he designs is amazing to me. I feel like he really keeps a womans body in mind and his clothing have a natural fluidity to them that I enjoy. You can see anyone from Beyonce to Eva Longoria wearing his dresses on any given day.The color palette is also great because you can still make these looks pop with a great accessory.

I saw this photoshoot in the December 2009 issue of Glamour and looooved it. The concept of the shoot of what you should rock on your "day off" and of course in fashion, a day off, is a day ON! I love the styling in this shoot. The mixture of high heels and boyish clothing really pulls off that casual chic tomboy look. I would soo rock any of these any day! The beauty of this styling is that you can recreate any of these outfits very easily! This shoot was styled by Editor Maggie Mann and included clothing from: True Religion Jeans and Current/Elliott and fashions by Y-3, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Burberry Prorsum and Rag & Bone.

Believe It Or Not....I Love Rap!

If you want to be in fashion, are in fashion, or fashion obsessed you have to know your history and the power players in fashion. Karl Lagerfeld is one of those people that you NEED to know. I'm all about fashion history and knowing who and what came before me and their purpose before ANYTHING! So I want to highlight someone who is a cornerstone when it comes to fashion and style. German Born Lagerfeld, based his career out of Paris and has had his hands on just about everything fashionably fabulous during his career. He is most known for his contribution to the House of Chanel as head designer and creative director and has also had major contributions to the House of Fendi among other noted fashion houses. There just isn't enough space to really write all of Lagerfeld's accomplishments among being a highly acclaimed designer he is a talented photographer! Take the time to educate yourself about Karl Lagerfeld then some back and thank me later!
(Real Talk I think Karl listens to Hov and Lil Wayne! lol)
